TGIF

So I have this odd soapy taste in my mouth which is annoying the heck out of me, and I went to the source of all truth to figure it out.

The internet.

Anyway, Mr. Internet had two reasons for this weird phenom. One, I’m allergic to cilantro. Or two…

I’m being slowly poisoned.

I asked Alpha Man if there was anything he wanted to tell me. He said yes, he’d eaten the last of the Mint Milanos.

So probably I’m just allergic to cilantro…

  1. LMAO….that was very brave of Mr. Alpha to admit he ate the last of the Milanos! Meh…you aren’t missing much with the Cilantro.

  2. I do not like the taste of cilantro either Jill. I get the same taste in my mouth. I keep red swedish fish and reese’s peanut butter cuos on hand to get bad tastes out of my mouth. They both work.

  3. i’ve got the same issue with cilantro. Anyone who’s never experienced it thinks that you’re nuts if you dislike cilantro but it tastes terrible to me. It’s common among those who are considered to have super-taster taste buds.

  4. As soon as I read soapy-taste, I said, cilantro. I can’t eat it either. I like Mexican food but find it hard to find a dish without cilantro in it. So when we do go out for Mexican, I have very few choices.
Bad Alpha Man for eating daring to eat your cookies and then having the audacity to finish them!

  5. You guys just crack me up! And yeah, I remember reading about the cilantro thing… Have a great weekend and I hope you get more cookies!

  6. Odd. I had a metal taste in my mouth. Internet said scary things. Then I stopped eating the yummy peppermints at the office on a daily basis and it went away. 🤦‍♀️

  7. How strange. Of course we all know Alpha Man loves you too much. I guess you will have to experiment with cilantro or just avoid it. Maybe it was a fluke.
