  2. Now see….being a farm girl ….if my dogs suddenly froze in the alert position like that…with legs spread for fight or flight…I would be backing away down the trail gently calling for the dogs to follow tactical retreat. Sweetie…it could have easily been a BEAR! Or a COUGAR!

  3. Glad you all are safe. I live in the city, not far from the Mississippi River and coyote have been seen near me and about 1.5 miles away near the high school on the grounds of a golf course. Scary. Stay safe!!

  5. With all the bad things there especially the bears I think I’d move.I have the neighbors cats and the occasional oak snake .Be careful you and the babies.
