Working views

Sometimes I whine about how hard writing is, and then there are days like this, where my view is such that there’s no complaints.

I wish you could all come sit with me but then I’d probably never finish this book. πŸ™‚ And also, you should know that this view required boots, long down jacket, scarf, gloves, hat and a hot chocolate. With marshmallows. What’s your view today?

  1. I love your view. My view earlier was of a squirrel sitting on the ledge outside my living room just to antagonize my pup. Now it’s my office which isn’t very pretty.

  2. My view is mostly wet, some bright, fall colored leaves on one tree. They are hanging on. We also have green starting to show in some areas. Amazing what a little bit of rain can/will do! I’d rather be seeing the ocean but another day I will!! Thanks for sharing. I would love to come sit with you.

  3. I’d post a picture of my vacuum cleaner but I think everyone knows what they look like… MUCH prefer your view! πŸ™‚

  4. Your view is awesome. I would love to sit with you and absorb the beauty of the lake and those mountains. That’s always been my dream, to look out onto such beauty. My view some would consider beautiful. It’s the usual, warm (80), sunny, but no lake or mountains. I live in Florida, but 20 minutes from the ocean.

  5. Not that, it’s cold here to all I see is my dog blocking the view while she guards the house from the top of couch!!!!!

  6. The sun is seriously bouncing of the bay in front of my house. The tide is, if not quite rolling in, it will meet the barrier between the land and the sea in about two hours. All the sailboats are gone for the winter with only the lobster boats remaining until the end of December. We’ve lived in our home for many years and the water view changes every day. From a bright blue to an angry green when tested. But looking out some days it is like an inner calm so I know what you are talking about. Now I have to go and clean windows because wind whipping rain takes all the fun out of it.

  7. My view is alternating between the inside of a storage unit and the inside of a music library as I finish moving unused shelves. My view also requires a heavy coat with a hood, gloves, and water instead of hot chocolate.

  8. It’ll be my dentist’s face!!! Late last night eating a piece of soft American cheese – broke my front tooth?????

  9. I love your view. My office views are even close to that. Mondays are one of my days off so luckily I don’t have to deal with THAT crazy work.
