Try not to smile back

I was having a crappy Monday. My hair is ridiculous and I don’t fit into my clothes the way I want to, and then I saw this pic. This little guy is adorable. Clearly he doesn’t care what his reflection in the watering hole says. He’s happy.

So I decided to find something about myself I was happy about. And I decided I smell delicious (thank you Victoria Secret Bombshell Lotion).

Now you. What’s something about yourself you’re happy about today?

Our grandson was baptized yesterday and he and his 3 year old brother were very good in church. Hubby and I are retired and still getting along. Roads will be clear enough for us to travel to our home in the Poconos this week. Our children are happy and healthy. My kindle has at least 10 books I haven’t read I have 3 library books to read. It’s a good Monday morning. Hopefully your day will get better.

That little guy is way too happy for my usual grouchy Monday mornings…so, yes I’m smiling. And I think I’m going to try that Bombshell lotion too

I was thinking, before I saw this adorable smile, that I should tackle Monday like a Friday and maybe my outlook today would be set on Fun rather than Grump? Now, I’m definitely going to try it. It can’t hurt and it’s a better outlook than complaining about being with about 75 teens throughout the day….

  16. Linda Scarchuk says:

I’m happy I made it through the weekend blizzard! My city (Milford, CT) has the distiction of having received the largest total of snowfall 38″. We are ill equipped for this so basically we are buried. Plow can’t get rid of such a hugh amount of snow so payloaders are required to dig out snow and trucks are hauling the white stuff to the beaches. This may be a normal occurance for you Jill, but for us it’s a bit of a nightmare!
