Update: This was impossible, so I had to use random.org. I LOVED all the comments, thank you from the bottom of my heart. My publisher was so touched by the sheer volume of replies, we’re going to do another ARC giveaway in 2 weeks, and 50 of you who are willing to leave reviews will have a shot. 50! So stayed tuned.

Have I ever mentioned how much I love and appreciate each and every single one of you? How about a Reader Appreciation Giveaway to prove it. I have two advanced reading copies of It Had to be You.
All you have to do is comment here to be in the running. Two random winners will get an early copy of this May’s It Had to be You, the next Lucky Harbor book. In return, I’m asking that you be willing to post your thoughts on Amazon and BN, or wherever the fancy strikes. No obligation though.

So, I have a kindle app on my ipad and rarely use amazon unless I can not get something on ibooks. I used to have a nook for a very short period of time so I used b&n for maybe 7 books. I really can not say anything bad about either amazon or b&n but I really do prefer ibooks. (probably because I have been using them for so long and have quite a large collection of books in my ibooks library. I don’t like to have all my books spread out all over the place.) I can say that I have used my kindle app for textbooks so I do like that about amazon. And I do have to admit, I use amazon for most of my christmas shopping (not for books, but for all the other stuff). So, that about covers it.

Went to B&N yesterday to get Head over Heels. It wasn’t on the shelf with your other books. Very disappointed I ask the gentleman working there if they had it. After looking it up in computer he said it was still in the backroom. My disappointment got worse. This lovely man went in the back and came back carrying the book. I was so excited I kissed the guy in the middle of Barnes and Noble!!

Love reading the Lucky Harbor series, the way they are written you cannot put them down, at least I can’t, you immerse yourself in them so you laugh, you cry, and you cheer all through them. People around me think I am crazy sometimes when I read them. Can’t wait for the next one to come out!

I have read many of your books and LOVE them! I’ve just finished the three Wilder men books and fell in love with all three – although I’m undecided between Stone and T.J. Cam’s a little too young for me. I think T.J.s picture on the book front is devastating!!! I used to live in the Bay Area and often travelled through your town en route to Tahoe, so I can imagine your descriptions of the Sierras and whereabouts quite vividly. Love the small town “goings on” and the people – can relate to them since I’m originally from one back in England. I now live in Central Oregon and enjoy the way of life here. I love Lucky Harbor, and I would love to win a trip to Block Island. I live in CT and have been there a couple of times. My Husband took me there for my Birthday one year and we had a great time. My son rented a bike and had a blast….please let me win, it doesn’t cost much to take the ferry…

I already commented but just wanted to say that I hope you recover quickly from your back troubles. My 17 year old has a ruptured disk, and he is miserable. We’re hoping to avoid surgery and have had a couple of steroid injections already – the next couple of weeks will tell. I hope you are recovering and the pain is lessening. While I don’t know your pain, my son surely does.

I too have read and re-read Virgin River so many times I think I know these people personally. Animal Attraction, Animal Magnetism and those Wild Wilder boys I can’t seem to get enough then you come up to Lucky Harbor and my heart beats too fast when you get those Alpha’s into the mix… Well I hope my heart can take the next book, sigh….but I’ll try ; ). I really, really enjoy the Lucky Harbor series. My only request would be that the books were numbered so they could be read in order – yes, I know you don’t have to, but each story refers to or incorporates past characters. I like to read sequentially when possible.

i would love to win, cause i love your books, but i must make furthur comment on a couple of things. you are right about the selective hearing, my son-in-law cannot hear a small child standing next to him screaming at the top of her lungs because she fell down or other needs, but he can be in the garage with all doors closed and a radio blaring at full bass, and if you mention his name, he comes in and wants to know why we are talking about him. we tell him it.s because he is a bu–wipe. lol ps. short hair all the way. i dont want a man with more hair than me. i also dont want some hairy bodied monkey around, yuck. ever hugged a hairy man in summer after he.s been working in the sun?? arrrrgh!!!

Love the Lucky Harbor series! I have a Kindle and I use that to read from frequently; it’s great for travel. But I love being able to pick up a dog-eared favorite book, open it and start reading. I can do that with your books so I do buy “real” books for that reason. My kids do not understand my obsession with books and how I can read, re-read, and re-re-read the same book–I just smile and keep reading!
