Now for today’s clue:

And i just realized that a lot of you probably already have the books (or I hope a lot of you already have the books, lol) so if you win and that’s the case, I’ll provide either audio cd’s or replace with any other books of mine.
p.s. Just for kicks and giggles, what’s the temp going to be today where you are? We’ve got 90, which is unheard of HOT.

Lynn LaFleur says:
I would gladly take your 90. That would seem cool compared to the 104 we’ll have in North Texas today.

Low to mid 80′s in San Jose, California. That is perfect.

That Godiva chocolate sounds yum right now, I guess I’ll have to have a cookie instead! I’m in Colorado and the weatherman SAYS 97 but that means its gonna be 100. Too hot, I think I brought the weather over when I moved from Texas.

Looks like we’re getting 88. The temp isn’t bad, it’s the humidity that’s a killer.

Its looking to be a lovely 104 today.
Lovely Texas summers

Here in CT, we had storms last night to help with the humidity and heat…. so today we get 83 or there abouts for the high…. sounds better than what we have had with the high dew points around 75.
Posted on August 6th, 2012 at 7:24 amMary W says:
Only supposed to hit 87 today in Philly.
Posted on August 6th, 2012 at 7:46 amTiffany S says:
If it weren’t for the rainy weather today in southern Georgia I would be in close competition with Lynn LaFleur in Texas! But as of now our high is only 86 degrees and I am grateful for that!

112 forecast for the AZ desert. Blech.

After another week of Upstate NY awful humid, muggy heat in the 90′s where I could get nothing done, it is 76 and perfect out and I have someone doing work in the house so I am stuck inside on my last day of vacation.
I can’t win.

92 today. Still hot but getting better.
Posted on August 6th, 2012 at 9:38 amKim says:

90 here in Sonoma county also! Too warm for my taste. Right now though it is foggy or overcast & cool. The will come out soon & it will warm right up.
I love chocolate.
Do we have to go to all those places everyday or just one of them? Did I skim & miss something!!!
By the way I had to go to Target yesterday so I was able to get myself a copy of Forever and a Day.
I’m looking forward to reading it.

90 in Vancouver, WA! Hot for us.

It will be 79 or 83 in South Lake Tahoe, depending on who you want to believe.

90 is for weaklings. Still, we’re currently at 76 degrees with a heat index of 83 and a projected high of 85. It is HEAVEN compared to earlier this summer when we were running over 100. Our summer has been very strange, and despite a couple of wonderful recent storms, the drought has been killing our agricultural sector. I used to live in the south, so I should be used to heat and humidity, but it is still horrific. I also formerly worked in the southern Mojave, and even at 120 degrees, I still found it more tolerable than upper 80s or 90s with humidity.

110 today in the Phoenix area, Jill. Don’t know what’s worse – 110 by itself or 110 with hot flashes? Even the A/C can’t keep up with those power surges!

It’s in the 90′s here just outside of LA. I just finished reading Lucky in Love and At Last, back to back, and LOVED them!! Can’t wait to start Forever and a Day! Thanks for the awesome reads!
(By the way, I paddle boarded for the first time this past weekend and it was so fun! And yes, I did fall once. Have no idea how. I think some big fish upturned me.)

It’s been HOT in the PNW in the 90s and 100s. Today is better. Right now it’s 73 and breezy. It’s expected to be a nice 85 today and most of the week. That’s a nice break from the swelter we’ve been through the last week.
Posted on August 6th, 2012 at 1:39 pmTraci says:
This sounds like fun! High 80′s here in the Twin Cities. But we’re expecting quite a cool down for the rest of the week. Welcome relief.

It’s 87 right now, supposed to get to 91 in the East Bay of the Bay Area. If the first letter is B – I hope the whole clue is not “Be sure to drink your olvatine!”

104 in NE Oklahoma today… which totally beats the 115 we had last week!!!!!!

It was a beautiful day in mid-MI or so I assume as I was stuck inside most of the day. I think our high was 80 ish.
Also, I do have all 6 Lucky Harbor books, lucky me! Now to finish Forever & a Day.

I’m not sure. I was inside a frigid conference room from 8 am until 9:45pm so the day kind of passed without me here. I think that it hit 80ish but I’m sure that back home in Texas it easily surpassed 100.
Posted on August 6th, 2012 at 7:41 pmAlaina says:
hmm today with the humidity it was about 31 (87)

Late to the party because I was on vacation last week. Currently, we are sitting at a balmy 99 degrees here in the Inland Empire. Which, compared to our recent temps, is practically cool. Personally, I think any time I spend outside in that kind of heat should literally melt fat off of my body, not just make me drip with sweat!
