What happy looks like

March 15, 2012 | Filed under: Stuff

The look of someone who doesn’t have a deadline, or kids sucking the life out of them, or a past due library book they can’t find, or a car that needs new tires yesterday. This is the look of someone who has no place to be and absolutely nothing to do but possibly read that great book she’s just downloaded onto her Kindle.

Damn. I want to be that someone …

The elephant version of Frat Boy!

  2. Pat L. says:

I can actually see the smile on its face. And I bet it is a female. LOL.

  3. Liza says:

It is the elephant version of Frat Boy! I want to be that person too. Must get my car worked on this weekend. Top price for repairs could be as much as $1400. Really praying it is something much cheaper.

  4. MaryAnne says:

I WILL look like that tomorrow but with today’s schedule…not so much :0(

  5. Kate Angell says:

Love the smiling baby elephant. I put the picture up as my screensaver to remind me to relax and have fun.

  6. Marian says:

That is the cutest picture ever! :)

  7. Leeanne says:

Doesn’t life just stink sometimes? My kids (4 and 2) also suck the life out of me sometimes, plus I work full-time and will be working overtime on Saturdays for the forseeable future… Sigh. But, at least we have your wonderful books as an escape from the real world!

  8. CateS says:

There was a lovely youtube of a mother elephant pushing kiddo out of steep walled hole.. Moms are moms everywhere….

  9. ev says:

That baby elephant is wearing a sh!t-eating grin. They did something they shouldn’t have and totally enjoyed it! (Kinda like me still sitting here in my jammies)

  10. Allie says:

I want to be that someone, too, because that someone probably also has clear, sunny weather!

  11. Moran says:

    Such a cute baby elephant.

My work week is finally over so I’m feeling happy like him LOL

  12. Michelle C. says:

So wish I was that someone too! Cleaning house, packing for trip (for all 4 of us because you know they can’t pack for themselves), plus helping with school work and soccer practice. Read??? Who has time for that????

  13. Michelle C. says:

Very cute picture by the way

  14. Merilee says:

    So cute!

  15. Maggie says:

That elephant actually looks like he is smiling, how cute is that? My husband finding a job would make me very happy at the moment. :|

  16. Roe Carroll says:

That’s a great photo! :D Thanks for sharing

  17. Judy F says:

I want to be that happy

  18. Donna M says:

I’m happy! At the moment a little tired but still happy! I’m heading toward Oregon next Tuesday so I have no complaints at the moment.

  19. Diana says:

    Totally adorable!

  20. Hélène says:

So cute! Looks like it’s skipping :)

  21. Kathleen O says:

Talk about putting on a Happy Face… That was me when the kids went back to my brother today.. I love them, really I do, but I slept for two hours after they left..

  22. Jennifer I says:

Jill, I hope to volunteer at an elephant preserve next year and this photo really put a smile on my face. Such a delightful pic, almost as good as all those hot men ;-)
