Last Day Of Summer
August 24, 2010 | Filed under: Stuff
SCHOOL STARTS TOMORROW. Sorry, I couldn’t help myself with the all caps there for a moment… So for the second to last evening of summer, we went out on the boat as a family. Here is a very rare sweet moment between Oldest And Middle. Actually “moment” is too long. It lasted for a single second:

Literally. Because in the next second, Oldest ever so helpfully gave Middle a nice shove off as she was doing a dock start on her wakeboard:

Such sisterly love …

Buh-bye long days of summer, filled with sisterly warfare, “Mom, make her stop”, and “I’m hungry!” … I’ll miss you. But don’t call me, I’ll call you.

My boys start tomorrow as well and I AM GLAD!! Unfortunately, it is storming and gross here so we may have a lazy movie day if we don’t venture out

Although for the most part, I loved being one of 4 girls, moments like this are why I tell my son, “And that’s why I only had one child”. LOL
Your girls are so darn adorable.

I’m jealous of your landscaping.
I think that you’ll be complaining tomorrow that your house is too silent.
I’m scared for tomorrow to come. My son starts Kindergarten…
How do I put him on the bus?

Beautiful pictures. We are having a heat wave which is really miserable as our summer has been an unusually cool one! I turned my fans on early but I don’t think it is going to help a lot.
It is time to head to the coast but I can’t do it until maybe next week! Such is life!
Enjoy your peace and quiet after everyone leaves tomorrow! No feeling lonely.

Ha Ha. Those pictures bring back memories of my summer working for my brother Bill as his live-in baby sitter/house keeper. We went tubing, kneeboarding and wakeboarding…. all of our first times. And my god the wipe outs were hilarious! I’m posting a link of my brother Wayne trying to ramp a wave on his first try at knee boarding. Buah ha ha…. oh, and ignore my laugh and the crappy quality of my camera.
