Mother Nature On Crack

April 6, 2010 | Filed under: Stuff

It’s spring. The calendar says so.

But we’ve had 4 feet of snow this week.

Let me repeat that.

Four.

Feet.

Of.

Snow.

Even the trees are confused. I went snow shoeing.

Don’t ask me why I wasn’t walking a straight line. I wasn’t under the influence of anything but leftover strawberry pie from Easter.

And don’t ask me why I tripped over my own feet.

It’s probably why I didn’t qualify for the USA Women’s downhill ski team this year.

Way too much snow for me. I’m good with us only getting snow every few years.

  5. tennismom says:

You were probably high on all that fresh air.

It does seem the snowy weather has overstayed its welcome there. :) Four feet. Sheesh.

    Hey Jill,

I just stumbled across your site!….don’t know why I’ve never been here since I read your books!

But I wanted to tell you how much I LOVE the ‘Making of” link!!! Frequently when I read, I find myself curious about the author’s progression to the story completed idea — so thank you, I so enjoyed reading those!

and I’m sending you a little balmy Florida sunshine to see you through all that snow!

    Love your site!
