TGIF

February 26, 2010 | Filed under: Stuff

So I’ve been sick and neglected to tell you that Middle’s basketball team made the playoffs and they are playing today in the State Championships! So exciting, and we’ll be traveling to that game here in a few. (Middle in white)

While I’m gone, feel free to talk amongst yourselves, eat cookies, or buy SLOW HEAT.

Which, by the way, went back to print this week for more copies. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Now I leave you with a shot little cartoon. Notice the woman on the bed. This is how I feel. A lot.

Oh and PS — here’s what I don’t recommend: attempting to talk intelligently with your editor while on cough syrup with codeine (my new best friend, btw), take a bath with a book (fell asleep and dropped the book, sob!), or do laundry (um, Alpha Man? Sorry about the pink underwear.)

    Congrats to middle.

Are you sure you should be out in public?

Hey did you get any mail from me?

  2. Stacy ~ says:

WTG Middle! And congrats Jill that your book went back to print :)

Keep a low profile. And have a great weekend!

  3. Jim says:

Congrats to middle, wish her luck from here. And I did, buy Show Heat that is. Now to read, course I know is’s good.

  4. Pat L. says:

 Congrats Middle. Hope you all have fun with the tourny. Good luck Middle too. Hope you are well enuf so you don’t fall off the bleachers.

  5. Pat L. says:

The falling off the bleachers things was for you Jill, of course.

  6. Amy M says:

Wow that girl can jump! What a great shot!!

You need to get a book holder for the bath. I got one for Christmas a few years back, best gift ever. It sits across the tub, you have a place to put your drinks, and there is a rack that will hold your book. Then you just soak and read. Great invention. Probably the best gift my hubby ever got for me :)

    Get feeling better!!

  7. Liza says:

WTG Middle! Hope you feel better soon, Jill.

  8. tennismom says:

    Wow Middle can fly!!
Congrats on the reprint & feel better soon.

  9. Ashley says:

Congrats and Good Luck Middle! Have a safe trip there Jill, maybe Middle should drive? Since you have a new friend and all! Feel better soon.

  10. Stephanie P. says:

I wish I could jump that high. Way to goo Middle. Good luck at the championships! Uhm, for some reason your cartoon above is not showing up. Darn. I hope you feel better soon. Oh, and congrats on the reprint of Slow Heat.

  11. Patricia says:

Good luck, Middle. Am enjoying SLOW HEAT, & am looking forward to book #3.

IA w/others that it might be a good idea to find another driver to the Tourney. Hopefully, the alpha man w/the pink underwear. Next time, think boxers.

    Patricia

  12. D says:

Good lord Jill, how much cough syrup are you ingesting(LOL!!!!). Occasions like these are why clorox bleach was invented!!..You need to learn the cry.
When used sparingly, it can be very effective. I’m not a crier, but on ocassions when I due something really stupid, I watch for hubby to pull in and then force my self to cry, like most men he doesn’t know what to do with a crying woman, and ends up apologizing to me(hahaha) for whatever dumbass thing he’s done. God I love the marriage game.
Congrats to middle and all her team members, good luck at your champion ship game.

  13. Donna M says:

Great shot! Good luck to Middle & the Team today/weekend. Be sure to let us know the outcome.

Does Alpha Man look good in pink?! Makes me think of my mom & dad, he ended up with pink long johns!!! Boy did we tease him, as kids it was very funny!! She also at various times washed his wallet, all the money etc.!!

Feel better. Hope the roads going to the tournament are safe.

  14. Jennifer M says:

Congrats to Middle and Good Luck! Hope you win this weekend!

And Congrats on the reprint Jill!
    Fell better soon!

  15. Diana says:

Good luck to Middle and her team!
