Johnny Depp is People’s sexiest man alive!

Youngest:
Ew.

Me:
Ew? Bite your tongue! He has earned his title!

Youngest:
But he’s old.

I actually was flummoxed by this. When the hell did Johnny Depp and I get old? Sigh … Who’s your sexiest man alive?

I’d have to say Mike Rowe of Dirty Jobs on The Discovery Channel. Nice Chest, smart, great wit and sense of humor. I’m 35 and yes, he is older than me, but he is HOT & funny, and lets not forget that great chest he has.

Johnny Depp isn’t for me either. Ok, I’m strange in that the guys that “do it” for me would have to play their characters for me to be completely happy. Gerald Butler in PS I Love You(alive though). Gerald Butler in 300(again, alive). Clive Owen in King Arthur. Paul Walker in Running Scared. As you can see I think about this often. Hubby doesn’t care for it much though. hehe.

I can’t say Johnny Depp would ever make my Sexiest Man Alive, but I find I do like him more and more. I love his face when he talks about his wife and children. That makes a man sexy to me. Plus, I love that he can be playful and serious and musical and he melts me in Chocolat. I’m ignoring the old comment. I think he’s one of the youngest multiple winning Sexiest Men Alives if that helps.

I had this exact discussion with some of the girls on the swim team I coach. After giving me thoroughly disgusted looks, they informed me that Zach Efron is the new hot. I informed them that he was in serious need of either a hair cut or a barrette to hold his hair out of his face. Eye rolls all around!

Next day, I had to meet with a man that works for a local wind farm about bringing students from my school up there to learn about alternative energy sources. Speaking to him on the phone, he sounded like a nice, sweet guy. He shows up at my classroom door. Dead ringer for that Zach Efron guy. The entire meeting, all I could think about was that stupid hair of his hanging in one eye. It took everything I had to choke back a comment. Had my principal not been sitting next to me, I don’t know if I could have held it in.

I just realized…….I must be older than dirt!

I know, they are all young. lol. But its really not the age thing! I also love Richard Gere, and Brad pit.

I think Johnny looked best when he was on 21 JUMP STREET. That was one of my fav shows back in the day. But he always looks so grungy and unbathed. I think it’s cool he was picked twice, but I don’t really agree. I think Jason Statham is pretty sexy.

Sexiest men on my list, Hugh Jackman, Tom Sellack, Pierce Brosnan for a few! I’m sure given more time to think about it I could list a few more! Oh yea, David James Elliot, Gilles Marini (not sure that is spelled right, you know the guy from Dancing With The Stars). The really young ones don’t appeal to me to much as some of them could be my grandson!

I agree with Samatha about Mike Rowe. Saw him in San Francisco last year, where i went on vacation. His voice is how i recognized him. Not overly tall, but very nicely built. And i love his dimples!
I was too chicken to speak to him, let alone ask for his autograph. I just smiled and wakled away blushing.
I also like Alexander Skarsgard from True Blood. Now he is HAWT!
