What I’m Doing Right This Minute

I’m writing a book. You’re probably like “duh, Jill, that’s what you do”. But I do other things too, sometimes. Like eat cookies.
Anyway, what I’m doing right this very minute, in real time, is writing. And here’s the most recent page (don’t ever let it be said that I don’t keep you up to date on my life 
)
Excerpt (ROUGH draft):
They crawled through the attic space looking for the source of a roof leak they’d discovered in the last bedroom. Jax was out in front, braving the spider webs. Maddie was behind him, working really hard at not looking at his ass.
And failing spectacularly.
Twisting around, he held his hand out for the clipboard she was now holding for him, except he went still and slowly lifted a brow.
Caught.
“I, um– You have a streak dirt. There,” she said diplomatically, pointing to his left perfectly muscled butt cheek.
He was quiet for a single beat. “Thanks. It’s important to know where the dirt streaks are.”
