I met her yesterday while sitting lakeside and writing. I also happened to be eating Doritos, ranch-style, and apparently that’s goose crack.

She literally chased me all the way back to my car. And yes, I was screaming, if you must know. I am quite positive I broke the world record for the two hundred dash …
Maybe.
Huh. Well, I broke something anyway, just not sure what. You may now go back to your regularly scheduled programming– But before you do, tell us what you’re reading. I need a new book to read, something good.

I agree with Stacy. Ilona Andrew’s On the Edge was good. I ended up getting her other books (Kate Daniels series). I’m starting book 4 of CL Wilson’s Tairen Soul series. It’s a beautiful fantasy story. Shelly Laurenston’s new book Mane Squeeze was a fun paranormal read. The other books on the series are great too.

So sorry you were chased down by geese for your Doritos. I’m currently reading an ARC for Faerie Fate by Silver James and loving it. If I didn’t have to work and sleep I would have it almost finished. I also am reading Shadow Kiss by Richelle Mead and the 3rd book in her Vampire Academy series.

Hi Jill.
Posted on November 4th, 2009 at 6:54 amYou & your Doritos LOL.
Just finished some awesome books but they are all last in a series.
Hot On Her Heels – Susan Mallery
Feel the Heat – Cindy Gerard
Unleashed- Jami Alden
and found a little treasure which was laugh out loud & sexy called Felicity Stripped Bare by Vanessa Jaye.
Weird thing: unlike movies where sequels are not usually better, with these books the last ones were the best. Writers rule!!

I am reading Crescent Moon by Lori Handeland. My husband found the entire Moon series the other day in the book swap at the consulate so I am a happy happy camper. Usually he only finds the middle book of a trilogy but never a whole series.
Geese are scary critters. The only thing scary is swans! OK maybe bears too. You are a brave woman and generous to share your doritos.

Currently I am reading 92 Pacific Boulevard, Debbie Macomber’s latest release in her Cedar Cove series. I am thoroughly enjoying it. Recent reads are More Blazing Bedtime Stories by Jule Leto & Leslie Kelly a fun read & take on fairy tales also Samantha Hunter’s, Caught In The Act. All good reading.

In terms of books, I would definently check out Robin Kaye – Romeo Romeo and Too Hot To Handle
Marie Force: Line of Scrimmage and Love at First Flight
and Louisa Edwards – Can’t Stand The Heath
I just discovered these authors and WOW are they amazing!!!! I love contemporary romance and have found that finding a good contemporary is becoming a pain, but these authors write true contemporary’s that make you lauch, cry, and get out of the fan to cool off
I would check these out and pass along, definently keepers.
