Attitude Adjustment Day
October 16, 2009 | Filed under: Stuff
(warning — all pics were taken from my cell phone because I — gasp — forgot my camera, so sorry for the poor quality pics)

Got a teary call from Youngest from school. The mean girls were being mean, the unfriendly teacher was being unfriendly, and someone had stolen her lunch. Could I please come get her.

Since my day was going no better, I decided we both needed an attitude adjustment, and I knew just the place to go.

It’s really hard to maintain a bad attitude while looking at this view.

And while eating cookies …

sorry to say that the mean girls usually turn into mean women. cliques are still alive and well by me and i just turned 30. anyway i usually just read the comments but since i broke my foot last night(big ouchie!) I thought I would look for some sympathy. That and since I’m laid up for the weekend until I can get a big huge permanent cast on Monday I wanted some really good reading recommendations. I love you Jill and have all your books. I plan on re-reading Aussie Rules and Double Play this weekend. So will some nice girls take pity on me and give me advice which good books to read.
P.S percocet is pretty great until it wears off. hehe

Sorry your daughter had a bad day! Kids can be rotten and adults not always so nice either.
Dodgers lost last nite; so not a good nite here either. Sigh!

Hey those views made me feel good too. First read anything by Jill. I just got introduced to Susan Elizabeth Phillips & have become addicted. Dream A Little Dream is just amazing. Also read Kiss An Angel & just finishing It Had To Be & ordered 2 more in the football player series. You would also like Kate Angell (baseball players), Deidre Martin(hockey players) & Rachel Gibson (hockey players).

Aww, I’m sorry Middle was attacked by the mean girls, tell her to “kill them with kindness” that should piss them off.
Posted on October 16th, 2009 at 8:06 amI definately need an attitude adjustment day, today! My boss had open heart surgery yesterday and this place is just a chaotic mess without him! I seriously need to learn how to do take offs, but me and a set of blue prints don’t get along all that great! I’m just glad that he’s doing good and it’s Friday!

Your a great mom! Your lucky to have each other and I know how hard this age can be!
Marylynn, I hope you recover quickly. Your foot is the worst body part to break.
I’m home early with a migraine and hubby is making beef stew.

That beautiful view would help any bad day or problem. Cookies just make it even better. Sorry you & Youngest are having a bad day. This weather is fantastic & much appreciated after our rain, snow for you. Enjoy!
Have a great weekend. Oh by the way, I finished Double Play last night, loved it. I highly recommend it to anyone that has yet to read this book. How long until Wade & Samantha’s story? Too long!!

They’re mean girls because their moms don’t share time or cookies. Youngest and her sisters are very lucky to have you.
