My office
October 13, 2009 | Filed under: Stuff
Here’s the view of my office this morning.

Sob.
I’m afraid the time has come. I’m moving back inside to write. I’m going kicking and screaming, just so ya know.
The problem with being inside is that I’m distracted. Distracted by laundry and dust and TV. Yes, I admit it. TV is my crack. There’s a DVD of The Ghosts of Girlfriends Past sitting on the table and I just might watch it instead of working. To warm up.
What’s the last movie you watched? I’ll be taking notes for further procrastination …

Hi Jill

Posted on October 13th, 2009 at 1:14 amIt was Thanksgiving here in Canada today (Monday) and I had my children. There was a Bring It On marathon on and the children & I watched 4 Bring It On movies.
All the best,
RKCharron
xoxo
PS – It snowed here too, but melted away in the light of day.

The last movie I watched was Halloweentown High. Four kids at home and Halloween approaching means that we are buried in all things Halloween. No snow in this part of Germany yet, thank goodness. Not looking forward to the white stuff!

Hi Jill! Something similar happened in my part of the world yesterday, but the soil is too wormed so it didn’t stick
Posted on October 13th, 2009 at 1:40 amThe last two movies I watched (again) were Bridget Jones’s Diary 1 and 2 – very funny and mood brightening movies

Hey,
, get out those shovels! ), which is rather unusual (Fall, where are you? When I need you the most…)
Sorry for that!
I’m one of those winter haters. The ones that worship the sun, wishing it was summer 365 days a year. So your summer office being snowed in, it literally gives me the chills. And guess what? this week, forecasters predict we’ll have the first snow of the year here in Germany ( and I live in the south, condolences to the north
As for the movie, I’m not much of a movie watcher in the summer, and more of a reader during those icy, dark winter days (You know, a “give me a blanket, hot chocolate and good book” kind of girl . So can’t help you with your procrastination
Best,

I saw Love Happens. I thought it was going to be just a chick flick but it was actually a little deeper than that. It’s about the grieving process. It didn’t have to have a plot though as I could just look at Aaron Eckhart not doing anything special anyway.

Saw Ghosts of Girlfriends Past and thought it was only ok…also rented something else from the Redbox…forget the title at the moment but hated it because I didn’t watch all of it and I rarely do that. Figure it I have paid my monwy I should watch it…but could not watch all of this. Can’t believe I can’t remember what it was.
Thinking about going to see I Can Do bad all By Myselt, the new Tylar Perry movie at the theater sometime this week because Adam Rodriguez from CSI MIAMI is in it.
Break out the cookies and coco to try and get over the trama of moving your office indoors

The last movie I watched was Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince which further proved for me that books are better. My husband feels lucky that I’ll sit down and watch an hour of tv a couple of nights a week. The sad part is that he works for the cable company and we get all the channels for free.

I must admit the last movie I watched was Zombieland and loved it, repeat I loved it! Am catching up on House before I too watch Ghost of Girlfriends Past. Made my husband cry so who knows what it will do to my pregnant hormones.
Wish me luck!

We watched the 1980 version of Fame on video. Heard the new version was not good so we opted to save money and went with free from the library. Last movie in the theater was Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. According to my 9-year-old–”Meah..it was okay..but not worth the ticket price.”
Posted on October 13th, 2009 at 6:55 amAshley says:
Ang, I agree with your nine yr old, I suffered thru it, but my 4 yo loved it, I’m just glad we did the $3 matinee!!

I’ve been getting movies from the library – I just watched Watchmen last night. It was ok. (And… I have to admit I understand why my friend immediately said “blue penis” when I asked him about it after he saw it in the theater.)
Posted on October 13th, 2009 at 7:12 amBefore that I watched Bride Wars, which is just a cute movie.
And before that… Taken with Liam Neeson. *Loved* it.

Wow…I would have gone back to bed if I woke up this morning and seen snow on the deck. I hate winter but living in Michigan you have to deal with it.
The last movie I seen on On Demand was Inkheart and it was a lot better then I thought it was going to be. Plus who doesn’t like Brandon Frasier

I saw The Hangover over the weekend and was soooo disappointed! I was in the mood for a good, raunchy, inappropriate movie, and yes, it was inappropriate, but so not funny. Srsly, this movie was boring. I kept waiting for it to get good. There were a few moments of humor, but overall, it was bad. And after all the good reviews, too. Huh.
Think I need to pop in BBC’s North and South and drool over Richard Armitage…

That exact movie! It is so good! It’s candy for the eyes!

I would cry if I looked outside and saw that.
I saw Couples Retreat over the weekend. It was really funny. Worth the price.

I just rented Ghosts of Girlfriends Past and didn’t really care for it. It was a typical Matthew McConnaughy movie. Now, I have Wolverine to watch with my sons.
Posted on October 13th, 2009 at 8:28 amIt’s supposed to be 97 degrees here in Phoenix by the end of the week!
Amber says:
I love the snow and since I’ve moved back home to Oklahoma from Colorado I don’t get to see it nearly as much.
Ghost of Girlfriends Past is a great movie. I love chick flicks.
Posted on October 13th, 2009 at 8:49 amNicole S says:
Thank god I don’t have that yet. I’m not ready for the snow! The last movie I watched was Harry Potter and the Chambers of Secrets.

I’m going to see Where The Wild Things Are this weekend. Not sure what the last movie I watched was, but I think it was Sex and the City.
Your office looks way too cold for me. I get cold when it is in the 40′s with no snow.

I can’t remember the last movie we’ve watched. We DID just watch the first season of Castle on DVD. LOVED IT! *G* I love snow, so looking at that picture I feel bad for you, but would love it here. Unfortunately here we don’t get a lot of snow and it’s 72 degrees today.

The last movie I watched was Ghosts of Girlfriends Past and I loved it!! Of course, with MM in it, it can’t be bad, right?

Brr…I was wondering if you got snow. We are getting lots of rain here. This is quite a storm for the first of the rainy season in California! Sorry you have to move the office inside but I think by Friday it is suppose to be sunny again.
The last movie I watched was Tribute, not as good as the book but I wasn’t expecting it to be!! Enjoy Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, my cousin gave it an ok! I don’t have it on my Netflix list yet!!

Watched Ghosts of Girlfriends Past last Friday…cute, very predictable. I really want to see Julie and Julia – I hear it’s better than the book!

I’m not ready for winter.. I want summer back. Nothing personal but, better you than me(lol). Last movie I watched was Hot Fuzz with my 16 yr old son. I surprised him by staying awake through the whole thing. I’m notorious for falling asleep within 30 minutes of any movie.

Yikes! I’m sure glad it doesn’t snow here in San Francisco, although it’s super rainy and windy today. The last movie that I watched was Whip It, starring Ellen Page (Juno) and directed by Drew Barrymore. I really enjoyed it and recommend it.

I saw Marley & Me over the weekend. Cry fest!!!
Posted on October 14th, 2009 at 3:16 amOf course, the book was better. Owen Wilson didn’t have chemistry with the “dogs”. Also, hard to buy Jen Aniston as the SAHM of three young kids. lol
Karin says:
I just watched Becoming Jane and really enjoyed it, though there were definitely some things in it that didn’t quite fit with what is known about Jane Austen’s life.

I hate to admit it, but the last movie I watched was “The Swan Princess.” I have three little girls, ages 4 and almost 3…. I suppose that’s not a shocker.
