To All A Good Night
October 6, 2009 | Filed under: Stuff
I forgot! Kensington has reprinted last October’s novella into mass market. It used to look like this in trade sized paperback:

I know, right? Drool Town. But this year they put it out in mass market, so if you didn’t get it, it’s now a little cheaper. It’s not the same cover either. It’s this:
And it should be on the shelves right this very minute, but if it’s not, you can get it online here if you’re interested.
Excerpt:
For two months, Maggie Bell walked by him every day on her way out of the office, and every day she took in that tall, leanly muscled body, those incredibly well-fitted Levi’s hanging low on his hips thanks to his tool belt, and forgot everything else just to take it all in.
Take him in.
As the guy in charge of retro-earthquake fitting her building, he usually carried a roll of architectural plans in one hand and a radio in his other as he dealt with his men, looking confident — not to mention smoking hot — and every day she thought the same thing.
Yum.
Oh and while we’re discussing books, what are you reading right now? I am reading copy edits of the last Wilder brother, Instant Temptation, and also last pass pages for Slow Heat. I’d love to hear what YOU’RE reading!

I love the first cover the most. the second cover doesn’t really pop to me, but that’s because I’m a dirty, dirty girl and love me some nekkid manflesh.
I’ve just finished reading a romantic suspense by Shannon K. Butcher – Love You To Death. Creepy good fun! Now I’m reading Diana Gabaldon’s An Echo in the Bone, but it’s huge and I can’t carry it to work so I think i’m also going to reread some fun romances during the work day and save Echo for evenings.

I just fell in love with two new authors:
Marie Force: Line of Scrimmage and Love at First Flight and Robin Kaye: Romeo Romeo and Too Hot To Handle
I recommend these books to everyone, especially if they enjoy contemporary romances!!! I honestly had to run out the same night I finished the first book and get the second before I could go to sleep

First, your tweets crack me up.
I just finished Louisa Edwards’ Can’t Stand the Heat… a rompin’ good read and Alison Kent’s One Good Man… she got that right!
I have and read the trade pb of To All A Good Night, but I’m happy to see more being published in mass, particularly during these economic times.

I just finished “Kissing Santa” last night. I really liked Danny. He reminded me of Dustin, the EMT from “Heating Up The Holidays”. Both wore glasses and were studious, but HOT none the less. I purchased “To All A Good Night” on my Kindle. Both versions were offered but at different prices. I took the cheaper one (boring cover). I can always check out the drool-guy on the other cover on your web site.:)

Glad this is coming out again, I never did get it last year! The first cover is best, in fact yummy!
What am I reading? Recently finished reading Fade to Black by Leslie Parrish, edgy, gritty full of suspense & just a bit gruesome! She had me on the first page, if you like romantic suspense I highly recommend it. For those of you unaware Leslie Parrish is aka: Leslie Kelly. This is her other personna!! Now I am reading Debbie Macomber’s Summer on Blossom Street a library book. I am really looking forward to Double Play but two library books came in that I had requested!! They have time limits!
Whoops Jill, didn’t mean to get carried away about Leslie on your website.

It’s in my top 5 of all time and I’ve been reading romance since I was 14. I’m now late 40′s! Double Play is also in my top 5.
An excellent read!

This week for my literature class I read The Company of Women. Unfortunately I was SUPPOSED to be reading A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man. Worst thing is, I even double checked my syllabus before I read the wrong book. So, you can guess what’s next up for me. BUT, if I hadn’t read the wrong book and had some time on my hands, I would be reading Caprice Crane’s latest, Family Affair. It came in a couple of days ago and it’s definitely on the top of my list when I get time to read for pleasure.

I might start Ain’t She Sweet by Susan Elizabeth Phillips or a young adult book by Frank Portman called Andromeda Klein. Jill, I can’t wait to read the last Wilder book and watch the sparks fly.
