I haven’t really waxed skis in so long I wonder if it could become a euphemism for something else. We like to use euphemism’s around our house.

I thought of you today because I had an I Love Lucy moment at the aquariam. My granddaughter was walking up these concrete stairs and in my rush to grab her, my foot did not clear the first stair and the next thing I knew I had scraped my leg from ankle to knee and my forehead hit the concrete!!! I have quite a goose egg! ouch! Needless to say the hubs only got to see the part where my forehead met the concrete and he grabbed the baby quick, because I was to stunned to do anything for about 5 mins. The place was packed with people and I must say I think I will talked about for awhile today. lol lol

So I had to laugh when you said “good times” over the person throwing up next to you. That is basically my life as well.

Hope your having fun and no more “Lucy” moments!!!!

You’re welcome Jill. Please thank HelenKay. The first line I was in was JR Ward’s line and that took almost 1.5 hours… 5 fans monopolized about 20 minutes of her time. OMG… pictures, talk, sign the t-shirts, pictures again. I headed to your next, but you had gone already. Argh. I missed a few more authors.

BTW are you going to be signing at either the Harlequin or Berkley ones?

First time here and I’m overwhelmed.

PS. I keep stopping by the bar… not stalking you of course.

A 50 year old pregnant woman! Boggles the mind because I do know when I was 50 the last I wanted was to be pregnant!! I guess to each his/her own!!

It sounds like an interesting flight Jill. Fodder for a book down the road??!! Glad you arrived in DC okay and that you have a super room/suite to stay in to ease your travel pains. Can’t wait to hear more about your trip & RWA. And pictures too!

Unlike most people I love to fly and travel. All those unexpected “incidents” make life interesting. However, that said I would not want to be next to someone throwing up for 1,000 miles. That might be painful. I’ve been fortunate in seat mates for the most part except for an overweight lady with a nasty cold, that blew her nose, sniffed & sucked on hard candy the whole trip! Luckily I did not get sick! I was sure glad when we landed in San Francisco that time.

Sorry to get so long winded! The devil made me do it!!
