The Adventures of Ashes and Her Evil Owner
June 24, 2009 | Filed under: Stuff
There’s this bunny. Every evening he comes to our grass and sits.
And sits.

And every evening when I go out to put on the sprinklers, Ashes chases the bunny even though I ask her very politely not to. But this evening I remember when I opened the front door to make Ashes SIT and WAIT.
Inside the mudroom where she couldn’t see the bunny. But she KNEW it was there, she was quivering.

I believe it she could talk, she’d be saying GOTTA GET THE RABBIT, GOTTA GET THE RABBIT.

That or as was much more likely, since I was laughing at her, YOU ARE AN EVIL WOMAN!

He’s so cuuuteee!
I wish I had a rabbit in my backyard (but then bunnies and gardening don’t go together too well, do they?
)

ah poor ashes. I love seeing bunnies on the way to work. Sometimes I see deer.
At least its not a bear in the yard

We have one of those bunnies and 2 big dogs who try everynight to get it to come into their fenced in area. Bunny is smart. He laughs and hops away.
What kind of dog is Ashes? I ask because he looks like one of the aforementioned big dogs.Right down to the eyes and we are having a debate. We know Blue is part Border Collie but it’s the other part that is unknown.
and leave the bunny alone Ashes.

We have bunnies at our house, but they are smart enough to hang around the front yard where my dogs never go (unless they are on leads). In the back yard, we have geese who come in the yard from the lake. Jill will charge from the house and chase them back into the lake. She will also go after squirrels. She never gets close enough to either!

We have bunnies here, too, but ours know all the usual sounds and movements as my border collies get ready to play ball after a walk. On the rare occasion that I let the dogs run out the door at some other time of day, they get in a rip-roaring chase of the bunnies–but if they manage to corner one they just give it The Eye.
