It’s here . . .

Can’t wait for BN or Amazon to get my latest book, the one featuring some very nice eye candy for a Monday morning? Check out eharlequin.com, where you can get the book now . . . (It’s also listed as a Sexiest Men book, as numero uno! – a special thanks to Ang and Christa for letting me know)
In case you need enticement to spend your hard earned dollars, the book is only $3.99. So go forth and purchase.
Then come back and commiserate with me. I fell off the wagon and ate a Big Mac, fries and a moon pie. Yes all three, what’s it to you. I am now sick as a dog, thank you very much.
To detract from the fact I’m a complete moronic idiot, here’s an excerpt from my story. After you read, please comment and tell me that sometimes you are also a complete moronic idiot.
Excerpt:
Dustin shifted even closer, right into her personal bubble. “I see you, Cristina. I see the woman who feeds the stray cat her leftover sandwich.”
“Only when the bread is stale.”
“The one who always shoves all her spare change in the homeless guy’s hands every time we go downtown.”
“I hate having change in my pocket.”
“The woman who looks at me and her eyes melt.”
“Hell, no they don’t.”
He just looked at her, smiling knowingly.
Ah, hell. “Shut up, Dustin.”
He did– not because she asked, but because he liked to be quiet sometimes, as she did.
Yeah, he got her. He got her in a way no one else did.

I am an idiot 99% of the time. LOL

It seems like we’ve been waiting forever for Dustin’s & Cristina’s story, so this is music to my ears.
My name is Stacy and I am totally a moronic idiot, having eaten numerous bars of Halloween chocolate and bags of Sea Salt & Vinegar chips. Ugh. I don’t feel sick, but I do feel horribly guilty, which is almost as bad.

There was torrential rain here all weekend.
Posted on November 3rd, 2008 at 3:52 amResult? No trick or treaters. Not one.
I now have a mountain of mini-chocolate bars and treats in a basket beckoning to me in the hallway.
Will power? What will power?
And I LOVED that snippet.

Sorry you’re feeling sick.
No fear, you’re not alone. Last Friday I drove a ridiculously long way to buy a book that won’t come out until mid-November. The topper? I thought Friday the 31st was November 1st; the book comes out on the 11th. Feeling like a complete imbecile? You betcha.
Loved the excerpt. Looking forward to reading the book.
And I do hope you feel better soon.

Can’t wait for the book!! Hopefully it will arrive in my mailbox this week (along with the other books I just couldn’t wait for..darn that free shipping).
I have a feeling that Cristina will be my favorite.
Me..I have been a complete moronic idiot too many time to recount. I think that “Mom brain” should be a medically classified disease and there should be ongoing research into correcting it. :rotfl:

Loved the excerpt and already bought your book from Harlequin.
I ate Halloween candy all weekend. :loser: I start back to the gym today after being out for two weeks because of the flu. I will have to add extra time on the ellipical or treadmill to make up for all of my indulgence. :wall:

Jill – You were just having a Stephanie Plum moment. lol What’s a moon pie?
To All A Good Night – I went to a bricks and mortar store three weeks in a row looking for this. Last night — success! Finding Mr. Right was the best ever. I don’t know whether I love your heroes or heroines better, Jill, and I’ve always considered myself a hero kind of gal.
Happy Sales!

I ordered my copy on Saturday from eharlequin. Can’t wait for it to arrive.
I ate way too much Halloween candy over the weekend. I didn’t have even one trick or treater, so it’s all in my house right now. Must bring to work and give to other people.

And I am most definitely, positively, a moronic idiot on a daily basis. It’s what keeps me laughing and makes my life so fun!

I have my moments of idiotic behavior. I usually pray that I don’t have an audience during these moments.
Posted on November 3rd, 2008 at 2:26 pmKarin says:
My hands are itching for my copy!
As for idiotic behavior, I ate 4 different pieces of Halloween candy for dinner last night. All I had to go with them were some strawberries in fruit dip. Yeah, that was healthy.

Complete and total moron? Check.
Let’s see…
I lost my car/house keys for a week when we came back from vacation in September. I used them to let myself into the house, and then couldn’t find them again. My husband finally found them for me.
I left the lotion out that I use for Medium Fry (she’s got eczema and thusly really dry skin) while I went into the kitchen for something. I got sidetracked, and it took longer than the thirty seconds I’d originally planned. By the time I got back, Large Fry (who’s 3) had “conditioned” her sisters’ hair with the lotion. So much so that I had to bathe the youngest one again because it was the only way to get the lotion out of her hair.
Leaving the baby wipes out also results in wipe-snowstorms in my living room. Again, less than thirty seconds for that to happen.
I have so totally lost my mind that I leave one room, go to another, and don’t remember why I came into the room, walk back into the first room, remember, and hope to retain it until I get to the destination room this time.
I sneezed and violently pulled a muscle in my chest wall. I had to have good drugs to be able to breathe without pain.
I think I strained a tendon in my right wrist (the good one) and I don’t know how I did that. It’s been a week and it still throbs.
Jill, sweetie, you are NOT alone.
