To All A Goodnight
September 9, 2008 | Filed under: Stuff

I almost forgot! This book is hitting the shelves on 9/30. I usually try to give you all a head’s up about an upcoming release but today it’s more about giving you some eye candy than a head’s up. But I won’t complain if you go preorder here:
I feel lucky to be sharing the book with friends Donna and Helenkay. I’ve just finished reading their stories, which are GREAT. I can’t share theirs but I can share part of mine, here’s the opening paragraphs:
Chapter 1
For two months, Maggie Bell walked by him every day on her way out of the office, and every day she took in that tall, leanly muscled body, those incredibly well-fitted Levi’s hanging low on his hips thanks to his tool belt, and forgot everything else just to take it all in.
Take him in.
As the guy in charge of retro-earthquake fitting her building, he usually carried a roll of architectural plans in one hand and a radio in his other as he dealt with his men, looking confident — not to mention smoking hot — and every day she thought the same thing.
Yum.

I’ve always wondered if you get to “screen” all those men before they end up on your covers. If so, why do I apply? I can start IMMEDIATELY!

Hi Jill,
I came across you through Book Binge. I have yet to read any books by you but if your books are anything as good as your blog (been playing catching up on your previous entries), I can’t wait to read them. And I’m afraid — you might become another fave author and there goes my resolution to cut down on book buying. Darn Book Binge, maybe I should stop visiting the site…not, ha! Thanks for keeping me company during my lunch and dinner. =)

Tabitha – The only problem with Jill’s books is you will have to explain to people why you are laughing out loud for no aparent reason. :rotfl:
Really if you like to read books that you don’t want to end, because you enjoy the charators that much, Jill’s books are for you.
Word of advice don’t buy just one, or you’ll have to go back to the book store as soon as your done.

You guys are definitely good for my soul. Thanks for being here!!!

I totaly agree with sls-rainey about having to explain what’s making us laugh, and not wanting the story to end. And on more than one occasion too!
Posted on September 9th, 2008 at 3:11 pmI should add to this the fact that i have had to explain why i was blushing so much while reading jill’s books.
I loaned one of her books to a friend back in June, and instead of giving it back to me, she passed it over to somebody else, and no one knows who has it. Yea right!
Needless to say i ended up buying another copy, and learned my lesson. Tell them to get their own! :rotfl:

Donna M and sls-rainey, now I’m anxious to read one of Jill’s books. I love to LOL to myself while reading!! I have a two-hr round trip commute to work each day on the train so having a good read is vital to keeping me awake and not miss my stop…I look forward to having Jill keep me awake.

 Jill,
Thanks to HelenKay, I have my very won copy and have read Donna’s story and just finished your story and all I’ll say is, I am loving every word! :bananadance: I didn’t want to put it down, but had too, sleep is needed for work :hyper: . “Finding Mr. Right” is sexy, funny and upbeat, I could really see this happening and like I said, I didn’t want the story to end. I will start and finish HelenKay’s story in the next few days, I am so anxious. I love early an Christmas.
