Watch out for that . . . duck? Goose? DEMON BIRD?

August 23, 2008 | Filed under: Stuff

So we were at the lake and Alpha Man decides to offer these bad asses a piece of bread.

And then he ran out of bread and walked away and left me in their midst. See this BIG bad girl? She wanted a piece of me, I can tell. I think she’s thinking SAY YOUR LAST PRAYERS, BEE-YOTCH! But that’s just me.

    This is Canada Goose :)

  2. SLS-Rainey says:

If you think geese are bad (which they are, they pinch with there beaks) never, ever, piss off a swan!
If you do or they start hissing at you, run for your life!

  3. april says:

Geese are evil. So are seagulls actually. One poo’d on me during my last vacation. I made my dad wash off my beach cover up. EW. I was surprised he did it without making fun of me. Nice to know that after all these years he’s still sort of wrapped around my finger. :)

  4. Judy F says:

Always throw the last piece of food and run….

  5. Jill says:

Judy, lol. I should have thought of that!

  6. Suzanne says:

I love Canada Geese! I know they are be a nuisance, though. Best not to feed them…… (Which is why they become a nuisance.)

  7. Mary McLure says:

I definitely agree with April. Geese are evil.

  8. raine says:

They are VERY aggressive, and they hiss like snakes.
And yeah, Jill–I think she was coming fer ya…

  9. Donna M says:

Oh yea, geese can be very evil! My ex had experience with that before I knew him!! Don’t want to be in the midst of them at all!!

  10. Diana says:

    She looks pretty fierce.

  11. Judy F says:

a friend of mine years ago was at a cementary feeding the ducks with her daughter. They ran out of bread and several of them came after them. They ran and barely made it back to their cars.

  12. Cryna says:

Yup, looks like she definately was after a piece of you………..maybe she thought you had some cookies you would share.

  13. Liza says:

They will chase you down looking for more food. Run to the car as fast as possible.

  14. Cheryl M. says:

In defense of the goose, who is a fellow Canadian, (LOL)she is trying to get fattened up for the winter you know, and the price of bread has sky rocketed, even for geese……… she’s probably cranky because she’s suffering carb withdrawl!!!!

  15. Sarah says:

All birds make me nervous after Alfred Hitchcock’s birds movie… if they only knew what they could do by acting together in numbers! lol
