I Love Lucy, Jill Style

July 21, 2008 | Filed under: Stuff

Here’s a helpful hint if you live in the Sierras: Don’t leave the window down on your car all night, and absolutely don’t leave hot spicy Cheetos in said car, because if you do, you’ll get raccoons, and they’ll eat every last Cheeto, even the crumbs, and leave you nothing but orange footprints over the ENTIRE interior. Greedy bastards.

(P.S. The pic is my view from flat on my back on the trampoline, where I was working hard and most definitely not napping — that’s my story and I’m sticking to it)

at least they didn’t get sick in your car..

    I love your working view…

  2. Stacy ~ says:

Oh man, love that view. Who wouldn’t be inspired by that…

  3. Cheryl S. says:

Oh, gosh, Jill. I thought I was going to read about a sudden thunderstorm and the interior of your car getting soaked. I never would have guessed raccoons. Only you. lol. (I’m laughing with you, not AT you).

  4. Mental P Mama says:

    Ewwww.

  5. Ang says:

 At least you were not driving down the road with a “passenger” who suddenly appeared…Raccoons, spiders,..what else is going to be in your car…YIKES..close and lock those windows and doors.

  6. Laurie says:

I’d like to do my work on your trampoline - love the view!

    Have a great day!

  7. Ang says:

:bananadance: My “Don’t hate me because I’m beautiful” picture entry won??? really?? I’ve never won anything..EVER..! I absolutely loved Suzanne’s “I’m Too Sexy For My Tongue”. You have made my Monday.

  8. Liza says:

    Love your work view!

  9. Ashley says:

Love your view, wish I had one like that at my desk in the dungeon, I guess I could print out your pic and tape it to the ceiling! lol
Sorry about your precious bag of Cheetos, damn those raccoons, hopefully they at least got heartburn from the hot/spicy!! :rotfl:

  10. Elen says:

This pic makes me want to run out and get a hammock….for two.

  11. Suzanne says:

You LEFT an unfinished bag of Cheetos? :)

  12. Donna M says:

Thank heavens it wasn’t bears that decided they wanted a Cheeto fix!
Even here in small town USA I learned to never leave a window down! A cat went in one night & left its calling card! I discovered it when I sat down in the drivers seat leaving for work! Gross!!! I may have been late that day! It was a long time ago.
Your view is lovely, good for inspiration.

  13. Donna M says:

P.S. Congratulations to the winners that put a caption on the picture of Mountain Barbie. :bananadance:

  14. Brandy says:

Your view is gorgeous. The image of orange footprints on upholstery is hilarious! *G*

    Congratulations to the caption winners!

  15. Susan says:

    Messy buggers aren’t they!

  16. Cryna says:

Congratulations to the caption winners……. :bananadance:

The picture of your view is beautiful. And as for the racoons they are certainly a pesky lot for you, but seem to love the same things as you…….. Sorry about the mess they left.

  17. Terrie v. Baarsel says:

Racoons like hot/spicy Cheetos? Who knew?

Sounds like it would make a good super bowl commercial…

  18. Karin says:

Love the picture, Jill. Too bad about the racoons, though.
