I have never tried snowshoeing - but I know for certain that I most likely would be down for the count and no hope whatsofever of getting back up. Although it does look like fun - not the falling part - but the snowshoeing part.........

Your world looks so clean and fresh if a little chilly. Love the series of photos. Like Carol, I would still be there come the spring thaw if I fell.

I remember laughing at my daughter when she was five - kicking a ball in the grass barefoot and both feet went out from under her - ended up in ER with a concussion after having a seizure - everything ended up fine but I'm always reminded how I laughed - at first!!!

And if a bear is chasing you when you go down in the snowshoes I have to assume... or maybe the bear gets a good laugh too :rotfl:

Since I've never lived anywhere that had much snow I'm not much for winter sports! I did a tiny bit of skiing once, ice skating outside on a pond & going down hill on a inner tube or some such thing! It was fun & I was much, much younger!! My daughter lived in Colorado where she did some snowshoeing. Actually they had so much snow one storm she snowshoed in her neighborhood, I saw pictures it looked like your area!! She also took some snowshoeing lessons when she lived in Bend, Or. I'd like to try it but this old body isn't in terribly good shape I'm sure I would fall down & give you a really good laugh!! :rotfl:
Loved the pictures, thank you daughter for giving us a good start on our Friday!!

I LOVE the puppy trying to help picture. That is so cute.

I have never been snowshoeing. Considering my disasters with skiing, I think I am better off observing deep snow from afar. ;)
