Got another great review from Contemporary Romance Writers:
9 out of 10!!!
Reviewer Comments: A thoroughly delightful, “laugh-out-loud” adventure from Jill Shalvis. The Trouble With Paradise will be on many “keeper” shelves.
Dorie Anderson is a working-class young woman, trapped in a dead-end job at the local Shop-Mart, while she has dreams of being a designer. Her tyrant of a boss, Mr. Stryowski, is a real stickler for promptness, and he loves to penalize for the slightest infraction. When Dorie wakes up to have another one of “those days” she knows she will need to be really sneaky to get past the boss or suffer the consequences. Well, there’s a surprise waiting for
Dorie; she has just won an all-expenses-paid trip on a luxury yacht to Fiji. Of course, she will have to promise to work every holiday for the rest of her life to get the time off, but it will be worth it, or so she believes. What fate has in store for the young lady is going to shake her up and teach her a few things about herself.
I have not been so thoroughly engrossed in a book for a long time. The Trouble With Paradise is packed full on screwball comedy, passion, emotion, and romance. Dorie is one of those women that other women can’t help but adore; she is warm and friendly, loyal to her friends, and someone you want to watch your back. She is a little klutzy, a lot charming, and a woman who has no idea how much love will change her views. The secondary cast; from “Gorgeous, Grumpy” Dr. Christian Montague to sexpot Brandy to Andy the pro ball player and all of the others add a special spice to the story, never detracting from the main focus. Brilliantly described sense of time and place allows the reader to step into the South Pacific to experience life on a sailing yacht and then a deserted island. With so many twists and turns to the storyline, this reader was kept enthralled to the dramatic conclusion. This is a book I find very easy to recommend and will purchase several copies for friends. I adore Jill Shalvis’ sense of style and humor.

Hmm, sounds like a yummy book. Is it also a Brava?
Am thouroughly enjoying an oldie, “Back in the Bedroom” that I found at the library.
I’m almost finished. Carolyn is just rousting Tessa out of bed the morning after. The dénouement is looming.
