I read across the board but I always come back to romance. My faves are Sandra Brown and Nora Roberts. I've never read the Harlequins.

I read anything at the supermarket on the Top Ten racks. Loved Stephen King, love Nora Roberts. Love Dan Brown. Okay so I love books. :D I like romance in those stories, but not so much the ones that are all romance. I want a big story.

I read mostly romance, but lots of other stuff. Clive Cussler is still a favorite. I also love to read SF/F. I'm impatiently waiting til I find time to begin Rachel Caine's first book. Though I'm trying to read more "literary" stuff, though honestly it gets dull. (Is that a rule, it can only be called literary fiction if it's dull? Or barely understandable with lots of barely recognizable metaphors?) And dang it, it's not literary, but I STILL haven't read The DaVinci Code. Mostly because people won't stop buying it so I can't get it in hardback.

I don't do too well with the "literary" stuff. I guess I don't want to be left devastated at the end of my entertainment, whether it be a book or movie ...

I like both single title and category. I also enjoy stuff outside of romance. Dean Koontz and John Saul are also fav authors for me.

BJ I LOVE Dean Koontz. I'm still waiting for him to do another book to go with Seize The Night and Fear Nothing. And Watchers is one of my all time fave books ever.

I read a lot of fantasy on top of romance, like Robert Jordan, George Martin, Jacqueline Carey, Anne Bishop. I've also read nearly everything Laurell K. Hamilton has written.

I liked the increasing romantic elements mixed in with fantasy, so that's what I attempted to do with my first work. Unfortunately, I think that ms sits too heavily on the romance side, and epic fantasy romance (in a made up world) is a hard sell. Cross-genre stuff is my favorite right now as I try and figure out a good balance of fantasy and romance in my own work.

I am strictly a romance type of gal and rom. suspense. I prefer the reg sized books as opposed to harlequin/sil intim moments. Like a beefier story. My fav authors are Catherine Anderson, Susan Andersen, Brockmann, Susan Mallery and Maureen Child who now write the thicker books. Dont get me started. I have lots of favs.
