Marriage and bad hair…

So when you’ve been married since the Ice Age and you’re traveling to a place of high humidity — which your hair reacts to by becoming a squirrel’s tail — and someone says very seriously to you and your husband that they want a nice pic of the two of us…

This is the sort of thing that happens. Yes, we’re a pair of twelve year olds.

But seriously, since the dawn of time. I’m curious, what’s your longest relationship?

  1. July 8 will mark 46 years for hubby and me, plus another year of dating before that. Most of the time we love each other 🤣.

  2. The one I’m currently in. My husband and I have been together for almost 9 years, married 8, both in September. And I’m only 26 and he’s 29

  3. My marriage plus courting, 35 years. Many people said it wouldn’t last one year because we are so different from each other.

  4. 35 years here and I’m the straight man in the duo. Your hair is LOVELY! I’d trade for it in a New York minute!!

  5. The one I’m in! Known him since 2000, been married since 2002… 3 Kids later and we’re still going strong. 😀

  6. My hub and I will be together for 45 yrs in July and will be married for 40 yrs in September…one day at a time lol

  7. Oops. My husband and I have been together for 27 years and are celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary in June.

  8. I’ve been married to Bill for 42 years. We met in October 1975. Got engaged in April 1976, and married on August 21, 1976.

  9. I’ve been with my husband 40 years, and we’ve been married for 33 of them! I love how you still make each other laugh!!

  10. We had 43 years married before he was called home and five years together before marriage….not long enough….we had snowball and/or water fights 😉

  11. First marriage…19 years and 6 kids.

Second Marriage…just about 3 weeks shy of 24 years. 16 Grands.
Still married. Still goof off together. You know when you’ve got THE ONE when he wakes up at 5am, gets up to go pee, comes back to bed, snuggles up, sniffs your hair, and says “This is better than Disneyland.”

  12. I married the man who mended my broken heart and made a little boy happy again (my first husband died when my (now) eldest was 17 months old), we’ve been married 22 years and he still makes my heart flutter when I think about him
