Still on drugs, still in pain. Hoping to be doing backflips by tomorrow. In the meantime, back by popular demand:

  1. Sorry you hurt your back. Hope you will be pain free soon.

And this list is absolutely so true and bears repeating every so often for a chuckle.

  2. I love this. It brought a quick smile to me this morning. I hate that you are hurting, and am hoping for a speedy recovery. In the meantime enjoy the pampering I’m sure you are receiving!

  3. Hope you are feeling better soon. This was great and definitely brought a smile to my face this morning. Thank you.

  4. Hope your back feels better soon, but hey…drugs!

I think I said two of those words just yesterday – everyone better watch out…

Otherwise…may we all have a peaceful and pain free weekend.

  5. During the 27 years my husband and I have been together (22 married) we have of course hit afew snags. Now I am known for using many of thses terms on a regular basis. After one very challenging “conversation” my husband said “I wish to god I knew what you really mean when you say those things!: I printed this up and presented it to him..After he finally stopped laughing, he gave me a kiss and said “Honey if you had just given me this the day we got married it would’ve made things alot easier..I get it now!” Oh if only I had thought of that! hehehe

    Feel better!

  6. You manage to make us smile even when you are not feeling well. Thanks for the laugh. I hope you are feeling better very soon!

  7. Jill, I really commiserate with you, I have 6 bulging discs- so back pain is really difficult to treat and deal with. Bless you, take the anti-inflammatorys and pain meds. ๐Ÿ˜ฅ ๐Ÿ˜ฅ ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

  8. I hope you are feeling better soon.. At least you can get some good reading in and those pain killers can be so euphoric… Thanks for making me laugh even when you are in pain…
    Hugs

  9. This is right up there with my hubby’s advice to any other guy in a relationship…”The most important words you need to remember are: yes dear.”

  10. Since there is no man in my life except for 2 grandsons & my son in law I don’t need the list!! However, it is still fun to read & wish I had had it earlier in my life!!! ๐Ÿ˜†

I’m so sorry to hear you are in pain. I did not manage to stop in yesterday so I just found out. Take care, get better soon. Did you find something good to read? I just read Sisters by Danielle Steel. The relationship between the sisters in the book was lovely. They each their own story. I recommend it for an easy read, that flows along. Now I am reading a book by a new to me author, The Island by Elin Hilderbrand. So far, okay. I haven’t read that much.

By the way, I was picturing Alpha Man carrying your purse & books. Couldn’t help but ๐Ÿ˜€ ! Sorry Alpha Man. Thank heavens he can take care of you while your back gets better. Too bad you can’t ski, but you will get to later.

  11. Lol! I copied this and showed it to my friend and he was like, “Yup. My girlfriend says these words to me all time. Nice to have a code breaker now.” Hahah. And if you think about it, how many times do you say those words. I realized I say them a lot, especially the “wow.”
